In Might 1992, Sabu teamed together with his uncle, the Sheik, in the "Ring of Fire Deathmatch" against Atsushi Onita and Tarzan Goto. The match was set in a hoop in which the ropes have been changed with barbed wire with sheets soaked in gas wrapped around it. As being the match started off, the ring crew lit the sheets on fireplace using torches.
